Privacy statement
Your personal information will be handled in accordance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 (Qld) (IP Act) and the Queensland Privacy Principles (QPPs).
The information collected is necessary to facilitate your interest and the commemorative certificate at the G’day Little Queenslanders event (‘the Event’). If you choose not to provide this information, you will not be able to receive the commemorative certificate.
Your personal information may be used by the department or disclosed to other Queensland Government entities to notify you of Queensland Government events and initiatives both now and in future years. Additionally, the department may disclose your information to Queensland Government representatives attending the Event.
If you do not wish to be notified of future programming, or you do not wish for your information to be provided to other attendees, please contact: engagementandpartnerships@premiers.qld.gov.au.
We use the EventsAIR platform to facilitate and manage online registrations for physical and virtual events. EventsAIR will use your name and email address for the purpose of verifying your registration and to identify you on the EventsAIR platform. The privacy policy for the department explains how you may request access to and/or correction of your personal information. Our privacy policy also explains how you can complain to us if you consider we have breached our obligations to manage your personal information in accordance with the QPPs, and how we deal with privacy complaints.
